Nurses (RNs)
Description: Under the standing orders from a local physician, screen campers/staff attending daily sick calls; dispense daily medicines; attend to injuries; schedule outside doctors appointments; maintain accurate medical notes and records; respond to all medical emergencies in a timely/appropriate manner; communicate with campers’ parents when required.
Qualifications: Active/current Registered Nurse’s License (RN) from state s/he may practice; 3+ years of school or pediatric/adolescent nursing OR 3+ years of working in a clinical setting with children preferred; ability to communicate effectively/ promptly with diverse audience including campers, parents/guardians, staff, medical colleagues, and support staff; current certifications in first aid and CPR.
