While the routine of daily activities is important for Tevya campers, we believe that unique, once-a-summer activities make each season special in its own way. We also enjoy making regular activities standout from the daily routine, such as picnics, pizza birthday parties, and special bunk activities.
Color War is a cherished camp tradition featuring a long-anticipated “break” heralding the beginning of competition. All Color War activities, where everyone participates, call forth true team spirit and develop leadership culminating in a simple ceremony that reunites the camp making everyone winners.
Campers are treated to trips out of camp each session. Out of camp excursions have included roller-skating, professional theatre performances, water parks and other creative activities. Our older campers participate in special trips specifically for their age group. These trips have included whitewater rafting or rock wall climbing at a specialty gym. In addition, some of our daily activities such as golf, hiking, camping, boating or sailing may involve leaving camp to hone specific skills in a more challenging atmosphere.
