In 2004, Camp Tevya’s Alumni Community donated a low ropes course in recognition of their love for camp and its 65th anniversary. Each week, all campers are scheduled for a period at the ropes course and additional Ropes Course electives are also offered.
The ropes course provides hands-on experiences while creating challenging problems that require our campers to take safe risks, solve problems in a group, and share in the rewards from a successful effort. In accomplishing tasks participants learn the meaning of cooperation, communication and trust.
